Finally . . .

After 35-year long-distance relationship, my "nephew" Dmitriy is flying me to Tashkent to meet his family. He has also organized a fabulous concert with my favorite amazing cellist, Hauser!

FLIGHT PLAN

AIR TIME:

Medford to Seattle: 1.5 hr

Seattle to Doha: 14.5 hrs

Doha to Tashkent: 3.5 hrs

Plus car travel & airport time

Total Trip is approx. 30 hours

Dmitriy's day job is computer manager for Uzbek Railway system. So I'm guessing a super fun train ride will be on the agenda. His home has a recording studio for him and art studio for his incredibly talented artist wife. As an artist and former musician myself, the creative environment will be nothing short of pure heaven!
